Masking an ink blended background for a 1 layer card!

Hello there, it is Verity here from Pretty Little Button for the Bumbleberry Design team. I have taken another class over on the Altenew Academy and it was a class where I got to use the Altenew Masking paper. I have had it in my stash for a while, but I hadn't gotten around to use it. But it inspired me for todays card by masking a background for a 1 layer card. I'm not one for making 1 layer cards, and yes technically the heat embossed sentiment on this card is popped up on a little bit of foam, but otherwise the...

Tranquil card with shades of blue - Altenew Flower Garden

Hello there, it is Verity here from Pretty Little Button for the Bumbleberry Design team. Colour can evoke different emotions and I took the Altenew In The Mood For Colouring class where we looked at 6 different colours and how they can radiate a different feeling or emotion. Doubling up on your sentiments - Altenew Circle Greetings: Thanks die

Hello there, it is Verity here from Pretty Little Button for the Bumbleberry Design team.  When I finished this card, I wasn't quite sure what to call the technique. So doubling up your sentiments seem to work because the sentiment on the front continues and doubles up as a sentiment inside the card too! It's not often that I put a sentiment inside the card, but when I saw the Altenew Circled Greetings: Thanks die, I thought it would be great for a window card. So, why not continue the sentiment inside the card. Let's get started! Written and photos Doubling up on...

Masked ink blended whimsy scene - Hero Arts: Need A Hand

Hello there, it is Verity here from Pretty Little Button for the Bumbleberry Design team. Scene building is such a great way to build a card, but the scene doesn't always have to take over the whole of the card. Masked ink blended whimsy scenes are great for creating a small scene that jumps off the card as though you've caught a moment in time.  I used the fun Need A Hand stamp set from Hero Arts and it comes with some beautiful whimsy underwater stamps. Paired with ink blending and white space you have two modern whimsy cards!  Written and photos...
