Written tutorial and photos for Emboss resist Christmas card:
Start by adhering the the four small picture stamps from the Holiday Borders and Icons stamp set onto an acrylic block in one long line. Prep some Cranberry Hero Hues cardstock with anti-static powder and repeatedly stamp the icons in embossing ink, moving the acrylic block for variation as you move up the card.
Next, cover the inked background with gold embossing powder and heat set. Using a blending brush, ink blend Aged Mahogany to the edges of the card, softly blending slightly in towards the middle. Repeat this by adding Black Soot Distress Oxide to the edge to add more intensity.
Trim the back down, to add a 1/8 inch border around the edge foam mount onto a cardbase made out of Cranberry Hero Hues cardstock. Heat emboss a sentiment in gold embossing powder onto white card from the Holiday Borders and Icons stamp set. Trim the sentiments down and add to the front of the card.
Lastly, to finish the card off, embellish the card with Ivory Opal Gems to mimic falling snow.
