Ink blending over hot foiling - Pagoni Mania Hot Foil Plate Crafty Meraki

 Hello there, it is Verity here from Pretty Little Button for the Bumbleberry Design team. When I first saw this Pagonia Mania Plate from Crafty Meraki, the pattern reminded me for the feathers of Peacocks. This spurred on the colour scheme for the card and I wanted to do a very loose background with gold hot foiling. Therefore ink blending resist with hot foiling was the perfect technique to create this bright and colour card. So let's get started!

Start by hot foiling the Crafty Meraki Pagoni Mania Hot Foil Plate in Gold Hot Foil onto white card. With a blending brush, place the card onto the Mini Stencil media mat and ink blend in a patchy fashion a range of colours to mimic a peacock. 

The colours used were: Suede Shoes, All That Jazz, Mardi Gras, Martini and Garden Party. Allow the colours to over lap and blend before trimming this panel down and added to a card base out of Adriatic Hero Hues card stock. 

For the sentiment, hot foil in gold onto Nautical Hero Hues cardstock the PinkFresh Studio Sentiment Suite: Hello Hot Foil plate. Next, use the coordinating die to cut this out and foam mount onto the front. Finish with a small sentiment and embellish with gold sequins.
