Hello there, it is Verity here from Pretty Little Button for the Bumbleberry Design team. Have you tried out wax seals? I was always intrigued by them, but it wasn't until Spellbinders came out with the Sealed by Wax Seal Kit that I decided I really wanted to give this a try. It looked like a lot of fun with a little wax seal station setup so I took the plunge to get it and I love it. If you just want to do a little craft with no end project in mind this is ideal. You can experiment with colours and added embellishment, crating a stock of wax seals to use when sealing envelopes - just add a little glue. Today's card creates a fun pattern embellished card using wax seals, so let's get started!

Written tutorial and photos for Pattern embellished card using Wax Seals:

Play about with the number of wax beads you need for the size of you seal - here I preferred to use 3 beads per seal for a smaller seal to fit on the card front.

Place a lit tea light candle underneath the wax bead warmer from the Sealed by Wax Seal kit. Place the wax bead spoon over the top and drop in 3 Royal Blue wax beads. Once this has melted, pour the wax onto the silicone mat from the kit and place the Sending Flowers Wax Seal Stamp over the top.

If you have any left over wax in the spoon, pour out small drops onto the mat to create colour coordinating embellishments. Once the wax is sealed, remove the stamp to reveal the impression. Keep repeating this to create 9 wax seals. I experimented to create light and darker colours by using White Pearl Wax beads and Teal Wax beads. In addition, I also mixed in fine glitter to add a little sparkler to some of the seals.
If you mix Teal wax beads with Royal Blue wax beads, you'll create a teal blue blend which is gorgeous. Adhere the wax seals to a Hero Arts Hero Hues Nautical cardstock panel with foam pads to create depth. Adhere this panel onto a colour coordinating card base.
Finish the card off by adding a glimmer foiled sentiment, and embellish with the coordinating wax drops you created with the left overs.
