Cohesive colours with Catherine Pooler Inks!

Hello there, it is Verity here from Pretty Little Button for the Bumbleberry Design team. What I love about Catherine Pooler inks is that they work so well with one another. Catherine Pooler Designs has split her inks into two main collections: Party and Spa. The inks in the Party collection are bright colours that are saturated. The Spa inks are muted toned inks with a grey undertone to them. You can mix and match any colour you want - that is part of art, but for cohesiveness, Catherine Pooler has taken the guessing out for you. Today, my card features a...

It is so simple to create custom coloured embossing paste and even if you don't have a lot of colours you can still create with this technique. I used some re-inkers to colour my paste - just as it was the easiest way, but you can easily use your ink pads, watercolours, sprays etc.  I've combined the paste with the beautiful In The Jungle stencil...

White flowers with white card - create dimension!

Hello there, it is Verity here from Pretty Little Button for the Bumbleberry Design team. At times it can be hard to colour a realistic white looking flower - well for me it is and I don't have the patient to sit there colouring them in. However, you can easily use layers of white cardstock instead. So my tip for white flowers with white card - just add dimension!  Popping the layers up on foam, allows the layers to create showers, and these shadows give the flower depth and dimension. This is such a quick way to make a realistic white flower in...
