Simple Watercolour Card Using Concord & 9th's "Monster Love" Stamp Set!

Hey lovelies!
We've shifted from Christmas cards to Valentine's Day cards in the craft world, so today I thought I'd share with you this simple card using Concord & 9th's "Monster Love" stamp set! As soon as these cuties were released I knew I had to have them!
I stamped my monster and his tummy first using Archival Jet Black ink on some watercolour paper. I masked the monster while I stamped the balloon and string, I used the "love you" sentiment in the balloon this time to fit with the theme.
I used Altenew's watercolour palette to colour my monster and background. I also dotted some of the paint around the background while it was still damp to add the confetti look to my panel. I finished up by adding some highlights using a white gel pen before using the Mama Elephant "Basic Rectangles" Creative Cuts to cut out my panel.
I cut a sentiment strip and prepped it using my powder tool applicator. I stamped my sentiment using Versafine Onyx Black ink, coated it in clear embossing powder and set it with my heat tool. I cut another panel using the largest of the "Basic Rectangles" Creative Cuts from Mama Elephant again to frame my panel, adhered my watercolour panel to it and used 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape to attach my sentiment to my panel. I adhered my panel to my card base and decided to leave it there to keep it simple!
Thanks for reading lovelies!
Claire
