Altenew Weave Builder Cards by Jen Kray

Konichawa!
I'm a bit late posting today but more on that later. I'd like to tell you
about the amazing weave builder stencil from Altenew - I LOVE it!
It's dead easy to use and doesn't take long at all once you figure out
the orientation.
I initially threw down some Frayed Burlap Distress Oxide Ink.
Flipped the stencil over and covered the inky bits with the stencil.

Using Vintage Photo, Walnut and Black Soot to finish the pattern.

Initially I was going to make a male themed card, but after adding some
Nuvo Drops I squished it and it's ruined. I couldn't believe it!
Back to the drawing board and time to make it again. However, I decided
to go for different colours this time - Peacock Feathers, Cracked Pistachio,
and Twisted Citron for something bright and cheery.
I also played around with the stencil a bit making different patterns.

So a different pattern and orientation to the initial one. I also gave it a
gentle spritz with water for a different finish. I really like it and will save
this until I need a funky card - hence no sentiment.

I ended up making quite a few backgrounds and here are just some of
them, each slightly different but a perfect matching trio.

Now, you may have noticed but these are little cards, A2, down to ATC
size. We don't always have to send large cards and all three of these are
perfectly acceptable to send as a little note to someone.

Another photos so you can see the orientation and the size difference.
I really adore this stencil and it can be used for so many backgrounds.
I hope you like these cards and you can buy all the materials from
Bumbleberrys.
