You Color My World

Hello, Sorry it's been a while since I posted on the blog. It's been a crazy busy month what with Easter and my Son's 4th birthday as well as keeping up to date with everything on the website, gaining new suppliers and packing and shipping all your orders. I feel like I haven't stopped, but I wouldn't change a thing :)

All stocked products will be listed at the end of the post.

So today's card is something a little bit different, but really quick and easy to do.

I took a piece of Bristol Smooth card stock and used Hickory Smoke distress ink with a mini ink blending to to cover the card. I love Bristol card with distress inks it just glides on. I then took a variety of distress ink colours and my mini ink blender and used that as a stamp. I took the blender straight to the ink pad, and kind of pushed and twisted it into it to make sure I had plenty on ink and good coverage. I then put the bending tool straight on to the the card and did the same twisting motion to make circles of colour. I repeated this for all the colour.

I cut the piece down to 15cm x 9.5cm and stamped the word "World" from the Altenew big world stamp set in Versafine Onyx Black ink.

I took a piece of black card and stamped "you color my" in versamark ink and added WOW! white embossing powder and heat set. I cut a fishtail in the end and added to the card with foam tape.

I finished by adding to a top folding A6 white card to leave a border on each side.
