Two Cards Using Avery Elle's "Sweetest" Stamp Set!

Avery Elle brodiecreations Bumbleberry Papercrafts Cards Claire-Anne Brodie Die Cutting Distress Oxides Heffy Doodle Lawn Fawn Mama Elephant Stamping Sweetest Clear Stamps

Hey lovelies!
This week I thought I'd share two cards I made using Avery Elle's "Sweetest" stamp set! As we had a bit of a heat wave recently I thought it would be fun to play around with these cute ice lollies and ice cream images!
First Card:
I stamped two of the ice cream images out using my Misti with Gina K's Amalgam Jet Black ink and coloured them with my alcohol markers, I added highlights and details with a white gel pen before fussy cutting them out.
I cut two panels from white card stock using the second largest of Mama Elephant's "Basic Rectangles" Creative Cuts. I used Heffy Doodle's "Candy Store" stencil with Broken China and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Inks to create my front panel. I blended the second panel with Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Ink and sprayed it with my distress sprayer. I used one of the dies from Lawn Fawn's "Lacy Heart Stackables" to create my window in my blue and white panel.
I used one of the dies from Lawn Fawn's "Shadow Box Card" die set to cut my sentiment panel, running the top of it through again to partially die cut it to size. I secured it in my Misti and stamped my sentiment using Gina K's Amalgam Jet Black ink. I adhered my panels together with 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape before popping my images and sentiment up with foam tape also. I cut a panel from black card stock using the largest of Mama Elephant's "Basic Rectangles" Creative Cuts and adhered my front panel to it and then to my card base using Scor-Tape. I added some light blue Nuvo drops for embellishment.
Second Card:
I cut a panel from white card stock using the second largest of Mama Elephant's "Basic Rectangles" Creative Cuts. I used my Misti stamping tool to stamp my ice lollies in a pattern going across the top of the panel and masked them with masking paper. I blended the edges of the panel using Broken China Distress Oxide Ink and the centre with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink to give it an ombre effect. I distressed the panel with some water, once it was dry I peeled off the masks. I cut away a section of the panel, keeping the bottom part of it. I coloured my images and added highlights with a white gel pen. I cut another panel from white card stock using the same die and blended it with Carved Pumpkin and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide ink before distressing that also. I lined up where I wanted my sentiment to be on the orange panel, secured it in my Misti and stamped it with Gina K's Amalgam Jet Black ink. I wrapped some blue and white twine around my bottom blue panel before adhering both of the blue panels to my orange panel with 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape. I framed it with a panel cut from black card stock like in the previous card and adhered to my card base using Scor-Tape.
Thanks for reading lovelies! I'll see you next week with another card!
