Pastel Florals - Sending Big Hugs

Altenew embossing floral vine Floral Vine die FLoral Vine stamp Geo Frames die Geo Frames stamp heat embossing Pastels Sending big hugs Simply Hello

Hello there, it is Verity here from Pretty Little Button for the Bumbleberry Design team. For today's card inspiration, I create a lovely fresh pastel floral card to say hello and send a hug! What I love with this card is how I used a variety of samps to frame the sentiment but ad lots of interest! Whatsmore, this card is A5 (UK sizing) - so it shows you can create larger cards with small items, you just have to build the scene up.

Sending big hugs (and flowers!) details:

Start off with apply Nuvo embellishment mouse through the 'Altenew Class ' Stripes stencil ' onto a white card panel and allow this to dry. Whilst this is drying, you can work on the rest of the card.
Stamp the images from the Altenew 'Floral Vine' stamp set and heat emboss in silver powder. Next, use pencils to colour in the flowers to add a pop of colour.
Once complete, cut out with the corresponding 'Floral Vine' die set. For the sentiment, die cut and layer the 'Simply hello' die from Altenew. To add a touch of elegance to it, cover with versamark and cover with silver embossing powder. Heat set this and repeat several times for the smooth finish.
Before assembling the card, heat emboss in silver the rectangle from the 'Geo Frames' stamp set by Altenew and cut out with the corresponding die. Now you should have all the pieces to assemble.
Adhere the cad panel the card with foam for dimension. Next, foam mounts the rectangle and adhere the floral vines around this. Using multi medium-matte adhesive, position the embossed die cut sentiment within the rectangle and add a small embossed sentiment from the 'Floral Vine' stamp set.
Lastly, add a few clear sequins scattered around the floral elements for some shine.
This is a favourite card of mine, and I cannot wait to post this to a friend!
