Masculine Birthday Card Using Honey Bee Stamps' "Music Speaks" Stamp Set!

Hello lovelies!
If you know me you know how much I love music and music themed stamp sets are no different! Someone who shares this passion is my wonderful dad, so this week I thought I'd share the card I've made for his birthday this year with you! I fell in love with all the different instruments in Honey Bee Stamps' "Music Speaks" stamp set the minute I saw them and knew I had to have this one!
I cut two panels using the largest of Mama Elephant's "Basic Rectangles" Creative Cuts (one from white card stock and the other from black) and ink blended over them with Heffy Doodle's "Brick By Brick" stencil using Iced Spruce Distress Oxide Ink. I distressed the white panel with my distress sprayer and cut a window from it using Mama Elephant's "Basic Rectangles" Creative Cuts once again. I used my Misti stamping tool to stamp my images using Gina K's Amalgam Jet Black ink and coloured them with my alcohol markers. I used a white gel pen to add highlights and details to my images before fussy cutting them out.
I secured a small strip of white card stock in my Misti and stamped my sentiment from Avery Elle's "Peek-A-Boo Scary Pals" stamp set with Gina K's Amalgam Jet Black ink and trimmed the ends to make my sentiment banner.
I popped my white and grey brick frame up on my black panel using 3M Scotch Double Sided Foam Tape. I adhered my images together using Scor-Tape before popping them up also. For the sentiment strip I doubled up my foam tape so it pops up slightly further, popped it in place and adhered my panel to my card base.
Thanks for reading lovelies! I hope you're all enjoying your summer! I'll see you next week with another card.
Claire
