Hello Fancy Blooms - Pink Fresh Studios

Big Hello Sugar Script Birch Press Designs Fancy Blooms floral heat embossing Hello Pencil colouring Pink Fresh Studios WOW! Embossing Powder

Hello there, it is Verity here from Pretty Little Button for the Bumbleberry Design team. As you will have seen Katrina is now stocking Pink Fresh Studios and I was so excited as the stamps and dies at Pink Fresh Studios are stunning. I also picked up a couple of liquid watercolours as well so I will show those off in another post. Today I'm using the beautiful Fancy Blooms stamp set to create a 'Hello, I'm here for you card'.

Hello Fancy Blooms written tutorial and photos:

To start off, trim a piece of Strathmore Tone Tanned Paper down to a card panel. Alternatively, you can use a piece of grey card with some tooth to it for the pencil colouring. Position the paper in your MISTI and stamp with embossing ink. This will give a watermark effect allowing you to colour the image in.

Remove the panel from your MISTI, but do not remove the stamp as we will need to stamp it again later on. Using a selection of pencils, colour in the images in. You can keep the colouring simple, or add some darker colour in the centre of the flowers as shading to greate depth and dimension to the flowers.
When you have coloured all the images in, position the paper back into your MISTI beneath the stamp. Ink up once more with embossing ink and stamp over your colouring. Now cover this with white embossing powder and heat set. The white embossing powder cleans up any of your colouring and pops against the grey as well as the pencil colouring.
Dilute a little bit of white acrylic paint and using a paintbrush, splatter this over the card for a messy splatter. The paint splatter ties in well with the heat embossing.
Next, die cut the Big Hello Sugar script die from Birch Press Designs out of grey three times and layer up using Gina K Connect glue. Also, die cut the hello shadow die that comes in the set once from white card and apply your grey layered hello on top. Adhere this to the card along with a grey stamp sentiment - this 'I am here for you' comes from a slightly older Thinking of You Altenew stamp set.
To finish the card off, foam mount the panel onto a white card base made of out Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110lb cardstock. Lastly, add a few clear sequins with Gina K Connect glue.
If you enjoyed today's card, please let us know and we would love to see your cards if this has inspired you.
