Hello there, it is Verity here from Pretty Little Button for the Bumbleberry Design team. I have a lovely colour combination for you today to use in your card and papercraft projects. I have created a lovely soft and sophisticated with love card using Altenew stamp and dies but you could use this colour scheme for a range of occasions. The bold navy contrasts lovely with the white peeping through the embossed stamping and the metallic copper and blush tones add a softness to the card.

Copper, blush and navy colour scheme photos and written step-by-step:

To start, mask of about of a third of the card off towards the bottom with some scrap paper. Using a blending tool and Chipped Saphire Distress oxide, cover the top two-thirds of the card panel in ink. Make sure you get good bold coverage.
Allow the panel to dry before moving onto the next step - embossing. If your card panel is not dry prior to embossing, embossing powder will also stick to the distress oxide ink.
Place your card panel into your MISTI and position the Altenew Magnolia heart overlapping the white and navy border. Stamp this in clear embossing ink, moving you panel to stamp repeatedly in a row.
Cover with metallic embossing powder and heat set. Position the card panel back into your MISTI upside down. This will allow you room to position the heart upside down in between the row of hearts you have just stamped. Repeat stamping these and cover with embossing powder before heat setting.
To complement the copper shine, add some rose gold mirror cardstock by die cutting three hearts out using the Altenew Love Letters die set. Before adhering these onto the card, heat emboss the sentiment from the Magnolia heat stamp set onto vellum. Trim the sentiment down to have a flag end and adhered to the panel with a thin strip of matching mirror card.
Foam mount the hearts onto the panel and add a selection of sequins to the card using Gina K connect glue to secure them in place. Lastly, to complement the muted colours of the card, foam mount the card panel onto a card base made out of Gina K Soft Stone cardstock.
If you enjoyed today's card, please let us know and we would love to see your cards if this has inspired you.
