Hello there, it is Verity here from Pretty Little Button for the Bumbleberry Design team. Sometimes we can get stuck in a rut with our stencils and just think of using one technique with them. But when you get a layering stencil you can do so much more! Today I'm sharing how I used the Mandala Builder stencil set and added interest to layering stencils with a few different techniques. So let's get started!

Start off by applying the first layer of the stencil onto a white card panel and using a blending brush along with Juniper Mist Catherine Pooler ink blend over the stencil. Allow the ink to dry before moving onto the next layer.
Position the second stencil layer over the top, aligning with the first layer following the guide on the packaging. Smoosh your ink pad down over the stencil and then cover with gold embossing powder. Heat set with your heat gun.
For the third layer, position the stencil over the top following the alignment guide and use a spatula to apply Altenew Embossing Paste over the top. Remove the stencil and before leaving to dry, cover this with glitter to add more detail.
Once the panel is dry, adhere to a white card base. For the sentiment, the 'Hello' from the Altenew Floral Frame stamp set - an older stamp set, so use what ever you have to hand. Heat emboss this onto hold and using a nesting circle die to cut this out.
Lastly, foam mount the sentiment onto the card to finish this card off.
